Is it legal to run a photography studio out of a storage unit or will I have to get a license to comply with zoning laws?

The issue is two-fold:
First, is running a photography studio legal under the zoning laws for this location? If not, you can't do it unless you can get the municipality to give you a waiver.
Second, even if the law permits it, unless you are the owner of the unit, you have to reference the terms of your lease of the unit and any other written rules governing your rental of it: you can only do this if the lease and rules permit it.
