Is it legal for my father to sign for me to be married?

I’m 15 and pregnant. He has joint custody with my mother but she has physical. I live with him though. I want to be married to the father of the baby and my dad agrees to it but my mom doesn’t. Could he sign my marriage license?

Under the laws of most states in this country, one parent of a minor can sign the required paper work to allow his or her minor child to get married assuming the minor per state statute is allowed to get married. Age 15 is pretty young for a parent to give written consent to get married. Most statutes require a minimum age of 16 for a parent to give written consent for the minor child to get married.
