is a ticket for speeding valid if the officer didn’t sign it he just put a badage no. on it and put the wrong court date.

As a general rule, when an officer makes an adminstrative error such listing the wrong court date on a traffc ticket and not signing it, is not sufficient enough cause to invalidaue the ticket. Such a mistake, however, will be corrected by the judge so the case will not be dismissed.
