Is it legal for a 17 year old who will be 18 in 3 months, to be dating a 26 year old?

Dating is legal. For the 26 year old to have sexual intercourse with the 17 year old is a crime ( statutory rape ). For the 26 year old to give marijuana or alchohol to the 17 year old ( a minor ) is  a crime ( Corruption of a minor ).
