in KY, can my employer force me to use my personal cell phone for their business?

Sales reps are to use their personal cell phone to maintain contact with business
customers. Can KY businesses insist that employees use their personal cell
phones without reimbursement of any kind?

Yes, a business can do this. Why? Because most employment relationships are "at will". This means that an employer can set the conditions of work much as it sees fit (absent some form of actionable discrimination). Accordingly, a worker can be made to use their personal cell phone without any reimbursement, unless doing so violates the terms of an employment contract or union agreement. For your part, you can either comply with this policy, complain but risk termination, or quit
