Im on unemployment and just got serverance pay in texas.

Do they know i got it

They will if the employer who paid you severance tells the unemployment agency or department, such as if they challenge (as is their right) you receiving unemployment during the period effectively covered by your severance. So while it is not automatic that unemployment will find out about this, they certainly could, if your employer discloses it to them.
