If arrested to possession of cocaine in someone else’s car, and the car is taken into possession, how long can the car be held?

Also, can we get personal items out of the car like a cell phone?

Well it depends on what was charged and if the police are going to institute forfeiture proceedings.  I would contact and attorney as soon as you can.  Sometimes the owner can pay a fine for release.  But sometimes it is much more difficult and complicated.  Good luck.
