If an employer forgets to deduct my health care insurance, can they force me to pay?

When I was eligible for my workplace insurance, my workplace did not deduct my share of the insurance from my weekly check. Can they force me to pay double for the next 7 weeks to make up for the missed deductions?

Yes, the employer can recover from you any amounts they had to pay on your behalf--but which you should have paid--for health insurance. Technically, you would have to agree to the specific repayment plan or scheme--though if you do not come to some mutually agreeable plan or schedule with your employer, they could almost certainly terminate you; they could also sue you for the money, if they thought it worthwhile.
