If a seller agreed to make a repair on a house before closing but after closing I discover that the repair was not made, can I sue?

Seller agreed to repair a leak in the ceiling. According to the contractor hired to do repairs on the house, this leak was never fixed. Now we have water leaking through a ceiling fan. We closed on this house less than a month ago.

Please take your contract to ana ttorney to review a son as you can as well as the closing documents.  Did you set aside the money at clsoing for the repair or ask for confirmation that it was repaired?  Generally speaking the issues do not "survive" closing so I am worried for you.  Please go and speak with an attorney.  Good luck.
