Your state (like most states) does not require employers to pay employees their accrued but unused vacation pay when employment terminates. Instead, employers are free to adopt their own policies in this regard. Therefore, whether or not your employer has to pay your vacation pay depends on whether your employer has chosen to pay it--that is, if it has been paying employees out their vacation pay when they are terminated, it should pay you, too, since it needs to honor its own policy until it announces a change in the policy.
