What is a fair settlement for medical complications resulting from a car accident?

I had a car wreck 7 months ago; other person was at fault she hit us from back. She was not paying any attention. The insurance company said they would take full responsibility but are only offering $6000. I almost lost both my babies my labor had to be stopped twice; my doctor put me on complete bedrest

I am sorry this happened to you.  It is very difficult to determine the value of a personal injury claim without knowing all of the facts and specifics of your case.  Generally, you are entitled to reimbursemet for medical bills, lost wages and pain and suffering.  I would strongly suggest you contact an attorney who specializes in personal injury and seek a consultation.  The main objective of an insurance company is to pay you as little as possible for settlement of your claim.  The insurance company has a professional on their side, so should you.
