If this is your first offense, you will need to ensure you get a good attorney to work at getting this matter either dismissed due to particular circumstances or at qualifying you for an alternative conviction wherein you may be able to get the conviction dismissed and charges dismissed and qualify later to have it expunged from your record.  You need an attorney.
