What to do if I purchased a truck a month ago but as of today I have not had the vehicle in my possession because it has been in the shop for miscellaneous issues?

When I called today, I talked to the service manager who now informed me that the engine must be taken apart. Can there be an adjustment made on the contract because my note is due soon? I spoke with the manager of sales wanting to know if they could do something because I have not had the car. He stated that it’s a contractual obligation between the bank and they couldn’t do anything about that. Is that true? That’s a certified vehicle that should have been checked before it hit the lot. Is there anything I can do that can work in my favor?

Given the issues that you have had with the vehicle where you simply have not received what you paid for I suggest that you speak with the dealership's manager stating that given the problems with the vehicle you desire to cancel (rescind) the purchase agreement and return the vehicle. By doing such you may get some "extras" from the dealership. Such is worth a try.
