What to do if I misplaced a life insurance policy from my deceased aunt?

I was the beneficiary for the policy but now I can’t find it. Will the insurance company find me to pay me?

Not necessarily. Do you know the name of the company?  You do not have to have a copy of the policy itself. When it comes the time for you to collect on the policy you would call the insurance company and they will send the paperwork necessary to process the policy and pay out the proceeds.  Good luck.
