What to do if I’m buying a ticket back to the US and they require a nationality, however I posses2 passports?

Which one should I buy my ticket with? I don’t know which one to tell them. I have a JPN and US passport and they need a answer. I’m buying the ticket through a Japanese agency.

You need to indicate that you have dual citizenship if that is what you are being asked.  However, if you are traveling to the US, you will be doing so as a US citizen and with your US passport, so you can indicate the US as your country of nationality.
