I haven’t reviewed my paycheck, is there anything I can do?

At my work I get paid every 15th and
30th of each month, but I haven’t
received it. My employer said he’d get
it to me the Wednesday of the following
week of the 15th of June. When I had
gotten laid off they told me they’d
ship it to me in the mail. This isn’t
the first time it’s happened and I’m 18
years of age so I’m not sure if this is
legal. Is there anything I can do?

In FL, there is no law that requires an employer to provide a former employee with their final paycheck immediately. That having been said, you should have received your paycheck on the next payday. If you did not, then contact your employer and request your check. If they are still not responsive, you may want to contact your state's department of labor. If necessary, you can sue your former employer in small claims court for your pay.
