What to do if I have been wrongly sued and as a result a judgement has been placed on my credit report?

How can I prove to the court that I am not the person they are looking for? We have the same name but different spellings. In addition after her name it has dba and a company name. Can you please tell me what I can do?

I suggest that you first contact the judgment creditor about the mistake in identity to see what can be done to eliminate the improper judgment on your credit report. If such does not resolve the matter, then you need to consult with a consumer law attorney to pressure the credit reporting agency to remove the judgment's reference from your credit report.
