What to do if I gave my truck to a friend as a gift and signed the title in the seller space but they never put it in their name and now there has been an accident?

My friend sold it to someone else who traded it and now it has been involved in an accident. Am I liable?

You should not be liable under the laws of your state as to the mishap that you have written about since you did not own the vehicle when it was in the accident. I would advise your auto insurer about the problem via telephone and in writing where it can assist you in getting title transferred out of your name as to the vehicle.
