If I fell down the stairs inside my apartment and was injured, can I sue?

I reached for the rail took one step and the whole rail gave out from under my hand. When I fell my head went back and I got 5 stitches on my right arm. I world like to know if I have a legit case?

Whether or not you have the factual or legal basis to sue the owner of the unit you are renting from for the fall you received depends upon a proper evaluation from a personal injury attorney in your locality based upon what you have written. One can be found on attorneypages.com.
