If I bought a house and after the 1 year warranty was up noticed mold growing in the drywall which turned out to be a roof leak, is there anything I can do?

The builders said to bad; it’s past the warranty.

If the home that you purchased is a brand new home then under the construction defect laws of your states you most likely have a claim against the devloper, general contractor and sub-contractor for the roof leak and the associated costs of repair since it appears that you have only been in the home one (1) year.
