If I bought a home with my girlfriend but she recently abandoned me and the house, is she still responsible to make half of the mortgage and tax payments?

I would be hard to sell because of a flat market.

I am so sorry.  Yes, she is still legally responsible for the debt owed and mantaining the property. And if you make the payments on her behalf then you ar entitled to be reimbursed.  I would seek help here to make sure that you are legally protected.  Good luck.
