If I’m on probation as a first offender on a felony theft by taking charge and I just received a speeding citation, will that affect my probation?

Depends.  Usually, when a judge sentences a person and allows probation instead of incarceration, they are very specific on what you can and cannot do.  So, you should look a the sentencing document and see what the judge ordered.  However, if I had to guess, I would say that the judge would not violated you on a traffic offense.  Traffic offenses are usaully allowed.

Hope this helps
