If I legally marrued the same woman twice, do I have to file for 2 divorces?

When we were 19 we eloped and got legally married in another county. We didn’t tell family and then 6 months later we were married again to each other in another county and the priest filed the marriage certificate. We have 2 marriage licenses and now are filing for divorce. Will I have to file twice?

No, you only need to file one dissolution proceeding against your spouse if you married her twice and have never had a prior dissolution. I suggest that you consult with a family law attorney to give you the proper guidance in the proceeding that you wish to go through with your spouse.
