If I’m legally separated from my husband and buy an apartment for myself, would he be entitled to it during a divorce?

Your husband would not have any claim to the apartment you purchase after being legally separated.
Whether you are legally separated or just separated with no intent to reunite, your husband has no claim to your acquisitions made after separation and prior to divorce.
