If I’m 61 but when I was 17 I got a ticket for illegal possesion of alchol, is that still on my record?

Most likely the ticket that you received when you were seventeen (17) years old is still on your record somewhere in archived records but since you are sixty-one (61) years of age, I doubt that such reference is accessible via an online background check of you.

The reason is that law enforcement does not go back and encrypt documentation not already in the computer system from years ago.

Likewise, getting such information would be very hard since as a minor, your records would be sealed since you were seventeen (17) at the time.
