How to remove my boyfriend from my home if he isn’t on my deed?

Unfortunately, the relationship is unhealthy. Mental and emotional and verbal abuse for awhile. He drinks too much and in denial which is causing a huge issue in the reason I want him out. I want to be fair,allowing him time to find a place but this is my house not his and I need and want him gone and need to know how to legally get him removed.

If he has paid any money towards the mortgage or any other bills, then he will be considered to be a "tenant". Accordingly, you will need to file for a formal eviction to have him removed. If he has not contributed money, even to grocoeries, then he will not be considered a tenant but you will still need to go through the legal process of "ejectment" (like an eviction if the offending occupant is not a tenant). In either case, take no steps to remove him yourself such as changing the locks, removing his belongings, etc. At this point, you should consult directly with an attorney in your area who handles evictions. They will best be able to advise you further.
