How to get out of a contract when there were FHA defects found and the FHA appraiser refuses to amend his inspections?

I want to know if it’s possible to get out of a contract when after the fact there are FHA deficiencies have been found and the seller refuses to fix as well as the FHA inspector will not amend his inspection. Missing bricks in the chimney as well as broken windows and rotting window sills as well as stucco missing in spots and peeling paint around the windows. Also, there was a noted hazard on the hot water heater venting not done properly.
