How long after mediation and settling a personal injury claim does the insurance have to pay you if you did not make an arrangement at the time of settlement?

There isn't any specific period of time, but you should receive your settlement check within a reasonable period of time.  A reasonable period of time would be ten days.
If you feel that too much time has elapsed, you should contact the insurance company and ask when you will receive payment and what is causing the delay.
