How do I know if the pain and suffering portion of my insurance claim offer is fair?

I was not at fault in the accident, so the other person’s insurance is working on a claim for me, and so far their offers for pain and suffering seem really low.

I am afraid that you won't know unless you retain an experienced lawer who regularly handles such cases.
