How do I find out if my husband is divorced?

My husband and I are being told by his supposed ex-wife that he has been from for 16 year now is telling us that the are not divorced. He left her 15 years ago and she remarried 4 years later. She

supposeably divorced that guy 5 years ago. She did file for a divorce from my husband 13 years ago but the judge dropped the paperwork so we don’t know if he is legally divorced and if we are legally

Ok so this is a big deal, as I am sure that you know.  It sounds kind of fishy that she got married 4 years later and is now saying that they were never divorced but do not rely on that.  You need to go to the county where the divorce was filed and get a copy of all the records and of the dvorce.  If they were truly never legally divorced then you are not legally married.  You need to then get them divorced and seek help from an attorney about the best way to proceed.  Good luck.
