I am so sorry for your loss.  I am assuming that it is a life insurance policy?  If you are the beneficary and you know the name of the insurer then you can call the insurance company and ask them to send the paperwork.  They will need a copy of the death certificate.  If you are not the beneficary they will not send it. If you think you were and some one improperly influenced your Father that is a whole other story and you should speak with some one.  Good luck.
