How do I domesticate a foreign divorce decree?

I live in FL and my ex-wife and our children live in VA.

By"foreign" here you mean another state? Is the decree from Virginia and you wish to file it in Florida?  I believe that Forida state law has a specific form of request - known as a pettion - to ask the court to file the papers from the state of Virginia in the state of Florida. Then they would be given full force and effect in the Florida courts as if they issued the orders themselves and a Judge could give you the requested relief based upon them.  I might get some help from an attorney in your area just to be sure that things go smoothly.  If this is not what you meant please write back.
