How can I find out if my spouse has a tax sheltered annuity before we get divorced?

I am separated from my wife. After looking into the bank accounts i found she had $30,0000 saved up under her name only. She says I cant touch it because its for the kids college. But Its under her name not under a trust just a CD. Am i entitled to half of it since she accumulated it during our 14 year marriage?

I am so sorry for your situation.  Money earned and saved during a marriage is marital property.  It is wonderful, though, that your wife has saved so much for your children's future.  It is very difficult in this day and age to stay on track and do so.  When yu get divorced you will be required to fill out financial disclosure forms.
