How can i evict a person from my crashpad?

I run a crash pad in Arlington,VA. There is no lease and the people just pay $225/month. Everytime i try to ask someone to leave they threaten me. I need to know the correct steps to take to get them out.

You have what is, these days, a relatively unusual arrangement.  I think you need to talk to a lawyer in your area;  the way landlord-tenant works differs from one state to another and your situation in particular might need some research done.  You might also want to talk to your lawyer about whether or not you are violating zoning laws and, if so, what that could mean.
