If my spouse has passed away after an extended illness, am I as the surviving spouse responsible for his medical bills?

Even with insurance some pricey medical bills are coming in.

The law in FL used to be that a spouse would be liable for such exenses, however today, unless a  survivngspouse specifically agrees to be held responsible for theie deceased spouse's medical bills, they are not leglly obligated to pay them.
