If I’m married to a US citizen but our marriage is not working great anymore, how a divorce will affect my naturalization?

I am in the middle of my naturalization process and my husband keeps telling me that he wants a divorce.

When you say naturalization process do you mean that you are applying for us citizenship?  If so, have you been a permanent resident for 5 or 3 years.  If 3 and you get divorced before you naturalize, the application will not be approved because you have to be legally married to qualify die citizenship after 3 years.  If 5 then it will be fine because your marital status is immaterial if naturalize ng after 5 years.
