If I’ve only been married for 2 years, is that too short of a marriage to consider alimony?

I just got papers 2 days ago and my wife is asking for alimony. She’s a stay at home wife that quit her job before we got married and I make around $35,000 a year.

It is possible that short term maintenance may be payable while she seeks employment.. You should contact an attorney in yur area.
