During an FBI search of your house, are they allowed to take any cash and if so, whats the maximum amount?

The scope of the warrant that was in effect when they searched your home matters here. What are you accused of and were you given a voucher for the items taken is also something to think about.  For some reason your question makes me wonder and I would speak with an attorney asap.
