Does Maine require ACCRUED PTO TIME paid when terminated

I was unexpectedly terminated after 20
yrs. We accrued PTO time and i had about
80 hours. Do they have to pay me

In ME, an employee is not legally entitled to accrued but unused vacation time or PTO upon departure. That is unless there exists an employment contract, union agreement or company policy that provides for it.
