Do I need to get my 14 year old a lawyer if he was arrested at school for possession of marijuana.?

What are his possible consequences? He is a first time offender.

Yes, I would get him a lawyer.  I understand that he is a minor but what concerns me is that he was on school grounds when caught.  If they consider him to have been trafficking - selling on school grounds - it could be a felony if tried as an adult.  You also did not state the amount that he was caught with.  Please get a lawyer.  Good luck.
