Do I need a lawyer if I’m being sued by an insurance company regarding a car accident?

I was involed in a nauto accident about 4 years ago. I was not given a ticket for being at fault. The car was a friend’s and was not insured. I was given a ticket for driving an uninsured vehicle and driving a vehicle with a suspended registration. Now the insurance company is sueing me for the money.

You meant the other driver's insurance is suing you? You better get an attorney to defend you in court.
