Construction of Condos

I own a condo. In the lot next to mine, they will begin construction on a block of condos next week. They will be demolishing the current building on the lot. There will be a lot of dust, noise and heat because I will be forced to keep my windows shut during the next 15 months. I also don’t have any air-conditioning. I am currently not working, so I will be home all day. What are my options?

Unfortunately there is not a lot you can do.  Filing a lawsuit or an injuction to stop the construction is not a realistic alternative, plus it is expensive and you will most likely lose.  I suggest going to a library to read a book for the day or go to a museam or something indoors while the construction is going on.  There is not much to do from a legal standpoint.
