I am 17 and I will be 18 in September of 2017. My boyfriend is 16 and just turned 16 in January 2017. I live in Maryland and the law is that its okay as long as the person is not 4 years or more older than than the other. So am I still allowed to have consensual sex?

Since your boyfriend is 16 and you are 17, you can engenge in consesual sexual relations under MD law. The 4 year rule only applies if 1 of the partiies is under 16.
