Filed insurance claim saying my husband lost
his wedding ring but he found it so we want to
cancel the claim but was wondering if we could
go to jail for fileing a claim we did not get paid
on claim

Mistakes such as this happens frequently. As soon as you realized your mistake, you reported it and did not benefit from it in any way. No crime has been committted; you had no intent to defraud the insurance company.
