car accident with city vehicle not my fault.

we have a claim against denver health ambulances insurance we have a lawyer the claim has been going on for 7 months and still no answers. lawyer said it takes three months to get a response, i just wanted to know if this was normal or is something else going on?

I can't say that it's unusual for three months to go by in a situation like this.  An insurance company is a big organization, and sometimes it has to go back and forth within the company first. And, the insurance company is in no hurry at all to pay you what is due, because they are earning interest on it in the meantime.

And if your lawyer is doing this case on contingent fee, he or she is waiting for his money, along with you, and I can promise you that he isn't a whole lot happier about this than you are.
