can petty larcent be plead down?

Just about any offense can be pled down, even petty larceny.  It all depends on the circumstances.  If you could provide some details that would help.  Even if the charge can't be reduced, if you are a first time offender you may be eligible for some type of alternative sentencing that could leave you with a clean criminal record.
