No, unfortunately your ex-husband cannot put you on his policy. You are not married, from what you write: the fact that you live together or are in a relationship does not change that. Only a spouse can be put on an employee's employer-offered health insurance plan; since you are not a spouse, this option is not available to you. This is why it is not uncommon for people who are in a relationship but are not otherwise interested in marriage to get married anyway--to have access to health insurance and the other legal benefits of marriage.
