Can I sue an oral surgeon for compensation for killing my tooth and or disfiguring my gums?
After my oral surgery, to save a tooth, my general dentist discovered that another tooth died in the process. To make matters worst he is trying to convince me that it wasn’t anything that the oral surgeon did but I find that very hard to believe. So I know I probably can’t start a medical malpractice case but can I sue the oral surgeon to pay for his mistake?

In order for the oral surgeon to pay for his "mistake" you would need to prove that he committed malpractice. If you think there was malpractice you should go see another dentist or doctor who can explain to you why this happen. I assume that the teeth you complained about were next to each other and that the surgeon was performing an apicoectomy. That usually indicates an infection. It is possible that the infection was large and damaged your other tooth. You need to find a dentist who will give you an honest opinion
