Can I stop paying alimony now that I am receiving SSD?

Whether or not you may stop paying alimony depends upon the terms of the court order in place as to the subject. If the order has no termination date within it, then you need to file a petition with the court that issued it seeking its modification before you unilaterally cease paying on it.
