Can I collect CA SDI insurance and SS benefits at the same time?

I am 69 and I am working full time. I am collecting my SS benefits too.I need to have surgery done on me and will be out of work for 4 to 6 weeks. Can I collect SDI along with my SS benefits during this time?

You collect one or the other.  If you are on SS than you do not qualify for SSDI.  Also, SSDI is for long term disability, not your situation here.
